The world is your oyster. Nowhere is off limits
I love travelling and to capture weddings all over the world is a huge bonus! Some people never think to take a photographer with them, but it’s possible.
I will fly, ferry, even row to your wedding and cover it in full. This includes the build up to that day. I approach this in the same way I approach every wedding. I blend in and capture natural, organic moments. I mean who else can say they have their own personal photographer on holiday with them?
Questions for your photographer!
I’m here to help. There’s no question too small that you can’t ask. I know all too well how difficult it is to organise a wedding, and how daunting it is with all the information available out there.
That’s why I’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions, and answers, for you to go over.
Do you photograph weddings full-time?
Yes. I went full-time in January 2016. Going full-time allows me to concentrate solely on my couples and building a great relationship/friendship. It also allows me to stay on top of boring things like admin.
Do you work outside Lincolnshire?
The short answer is “Yes I do!” In fact I work nationally, I’ve been as far north as Edinburgh, and as far south as Kent. I also work internationally.
Do you have insurance?
Yes I do. I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Do you do group shots?
To be honest I don’t really like doing them (controversial I know!) but I know parents want them. I’m not into the whole standing there like a manikin, stiff and expressionless. I much prefer capturing groups enjoying themselves. If you want them I’ll do them, but limit it to important family members. And remember, it’s your day not theirs.
Do you carry back up equipment?
I carry two camera bodies and lenses with me to every wedding. In addition to this I have a shit-ton of memory cards.
Can we meet you before we book you?
Absolutely. I always love meeting new people and it’s a great way to get to know each other. I always implore people to meet with your photographer before you book anything. It’s not just about liking your photographer’s work, you also need to like your photographer as a person. We won’t just meet the once before the wedding either. If you ever need to have a chat about your day, I’m always there. After all I like to think that after the wedding I’ve gained some new friends!
How do we book, and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is £100 non refundable. This cost is used to secure your chosen date. I can’t under any circumstance secure a date without a deposit.
When do we need to pay?
I ask that the full amount be paid four weeks prior to the wedding.
What do you wear to our wedding?
I wear a scruffy t-shirt with ripped jeans and flip flops. Seriously though, I wear what any guest to a wedding would wear. I want to blend in after all.
When do we get our photos?
I take the utmost care in editing your wedding images, and I like to make sure they are 100% perfect before sending them out to you. So this time frame varies. It depends how busy I am around the time of your wedding, but I would say 6-8 weeks during busy times. For off peak weddings it can be anywhere around 2-3 weeks.
Do you do destination weddings and Elopements?
Yes. I would love to capture your wedding abroad. Or if you’re planning on eloping to the middle of nowhere, I can be there. Destination weddings are usually my full day package, plus expenses such as flights and accommodation. I know this may sound expensive but you are getting my undivided attention for a whole week. I’m there with you every step of the way. I can do a pre-wedding shoot at home and when we touchdown in your chosen destination. If you’ve planned an excursion, I can be there to capture it. I can also capture family sessions for your guests while I’m there.
I don’t live near you, how can we chat?
Through the wonders of the internet. I have access to Skype and FaceTime. We can arrange to have a chat anytime, anywhere. If you live outside the UK and would like to chat I’m more than happy to wait for an appropriate time for you taking time differences into consideration.

Engagement Sessions Questions
When and where can we have our pre-wedding shot?
This session is all about you. When you’re ready to organise your session, get in touch with me around 2/3 weeks before – to ensure I’m available for your date, and we can discuss ideas about your session. If you would like to have a session outside of Lincolnshire, that’s great. I ask for a fuel charge of 50p per mile. If you want to give me a lift then it’s free!
Can I bring my pet?
I’m all for pets being involved, however even the best behaved pets can get a little rowdy. I want this session to be all about you, but if your shoot is close to home and you want to involve your pet then that’s fine.
How long before we get the images?
I generally have the pre-wedding images with you 1-2 weeks after the session.
