WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PRICES...

So by now you would have read my 'about me' page - if not that would be a great place to start, you get to understand why I do what I do, and how I approach weddings. Also there are some fun facts about me too!

A mantra in my life is "quality over quantity". This is why I limit myself to 30 weddings a year. I want my attention to be on you, your wedding and getting to know you leading up to your wedding.

I don't believe in the one size fits all approach to pricing, I also don't go for the whole thing with a million packages. I have three packages that vary in prices. If you want to know more then feel free to get in touch. I'm also open to working with your budget and offering personalised packages to suit your photography needs.

MY PHILOSOPHY

ENGAGEMENT

From the moment you first get in touch with me I start to lay the foundations of a new friendship. Getting to know you in the early stages of our journey together is key to getting great images later. It allows you to be yourself around me.

THE WEDDING

After we get to know each other, and have had a great time on your pre-wedding session. It's time to capture the wedding. My approach to this is to capture it as if I were a guest.

I start early in the day to get to know the important people on your wedding day. I won't usually get my camera out until I've had a chance to chat to everyone, and have a coffee!

ARTFULL PROCESSING

I treat every single image from your wedding as a piece of art. Making every single image from your wedding consistent with the style I shoot. After all you booked me based on my previous work.

K
FAQS

• DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS FULL-TIME?

Yes. I went full-time in January 2016. Going full-time allows me to concentrate solely on my couples and building a great relationship/friendship. It also allows me to stay on top of boring things like admin.

• DO YOU LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF WEDDINGS YOU DO?

Yes I do. I limit the amount of weddings I do to 30 each year. With doing this I can concentrate on the couples who hire me, getting to know them and create a friendship.

• DO YOU WORK OUTSIDE LINCOLNSHIRE?

The short answer is “Yes I do!” In fact I work nationally, I’ve been as far north as Edinburgh, and as far south as Kent. I also work internationally. There is literally nowhere I wouldn't go to capture true love!

• DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes I do. I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. My equipment is also insured on location.

• DO YOU DO GROUP SHOTS?

To be honest I don’t really like doing them (controversial I know!) but I know parents want them. I’m not into the whole standing there like a mannequin, stiff and expressionless. I much prefer capturing groups enjoying themselves. If you want them I’ll do them, but limit it to important family members. And remember, it’s your day not theirs.

• DO YOU CARRY BACK UP EQUIPMENT?

I carry two camera bodies and lenses with me to every wedding. In addition to this I have a shit-ton of memory cards.

• CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE WE BOOK YOU?

Absolutely. I always love meeting new people and it’s a great way to get to know each other. I always implore people to meet with your photographer before you book anything. It’s not just about liking your photographer’s work, you also need to like your photographer as a person. We won’t just meet the once before the wedding either. If you ever need to have a chat about your day, I’m always there. After all I like to think that after the wedding I’ve gained some new friends!

• WHO DO YOU CONSIDER A GOOD FIT?

Couples who are truly, madly, deeply in love is a must. Anyone who is up for an adventure, and couples who I can call a friend even after the event. It's great creating new friendships, and these relationships allow me to get emotionally invested, which in turn create sincere images!

• HOW DO WE BOOK, AND HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

The deposit is £300 non refundable. This cost is used to secure your chosen date and to help cover admin costs. I can’t under any circumstance secure a date without a deposit and a signed contract.

• WHEN DO WE NEED TO PAY?

I ask that the full amount be paid four weeks prior to the wedding.

• WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

I take the utmost care in editing your wedding images, and I like to make sure they are 100% perfect before sending them out to you. So this time frame varies. It depends how busy I am around the time of your wedding, but I would say 6-8 weeks during busy times. For off peak weddings it can be anywhere around 3-4 weeks.

• DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS?

Yes. I would love to capture your wedding abroad. Or if you’re planning on eloping to the middle of nowhere, I can be there. Destination weddings are usually my full day package, plus expenses such as flights and accommodation. I know this may sound expensive but you are getting my undivided attention for a whole week. I’m there with you every step of the way. I can do a pre-wedding shoot at home and when we touchdown in your chosen destination. If you’ve planned an excursion, I can be there to capture it.

• I DON’T LIVE NEAR YOU, HOW CAN WE CHAT?

With the recent pandemic I'm sure this question answers itself. Zoom, FaceTime and even Facebook Messenger a few ways we can video call each other. If you're old school and prefer a chat over the phone this can also be arranged.
