Abrielle X James at Aswarby Rectory

Go ahead and check out this inspirational wedding at Aswarby Rectory, Lincolnshire. If you are getting married at Aswarby Rectory, get in touch and we can talk about your plans.

The bit where they get ready…

The preparation part of the day is great for me. This is, for me, where I capture some of the rawest and organic emotions of the day. And luckily for me Aswarby Rectory has space for both the Bride and Groom to get ready. I got to capture both viewpoints of the prep, which is always a pleasure for me.

The bit where they get married…

With the prep over and done with it can mean only one thing. It’s time to get married.

The ceremony room at Aswarby is a beautiful blank canvas, a place to really show off your own unique vision for the day. At the end of the aisle before the great open fireplace was an amazing neon sign that read “The Hoptons”.

The bit after the ceremony…

So with the official marriage bit over it’s time to unwind, chill out and hug all the people around you. This is a great time for me as I get to explore the grounds around Aswarby and hit up some places for shooting later in the day. I also get to capture images of everyone mingling, having a great time and chatting away.

The bit where the Groom gets roasted…

This is the part of the day where everyone gets to hear all about the Bride and Groom. But let’s be honest, this is usually the part of the day the Groom dreads the most. The part where the best man gets to off load all the stories he’s been saving up for this exact moment. Thankfully for James he picked the right guy to be his best man. The stories weren’t too personal, and didn’t embarrass James too much.

The bit where they dance…

We all know what goes on at this time of night. People drink, get drunk and dance like crazy fools. Luckily I stay to capture this. Mainly so I can give the Bride and Groom some images they can blackmail their guests with.

Enjoy the images…
